Off to be a Gunner

Post by tony dean »

Off on Monday morning to hopefully become a rockape to those who are intrested.

Jay (and the others who run the site), you guys have created a little gem with this place (shame about all the booties, but hey..) Keep up the great work, and dont let this site turn into one of those my country/unit/dad/todger's bigger/better/harder/longer than yours place's, like so many military sites on the web are!

Good luck to all the (disillusioned ) lads joining RM/army/greenland home guard/girl guides etc. Hope you all get where you want to be.

Mr parry, well yes ahem, I hope your "surgery" goes from strength to strength, although I must say your new powers as a moderator scare me! :D

Which just leaves me to say, Steve.E, I hope your bowels continue to chugg along in a pain free direction! :o

Tony, farewell, adios amigo, vaya con Asda, etc Best of luck mate, you've been great company and we all look forward to hearing from you when your training is complete in three weeks.
Have a great time, I know how much it all means to you.
I told a widowed lady yesterday that her dear departed husband, who had been an RAF Officer for 32 years had been a Crab. She replied, "He was not he was very proud of his personal hygiene." It took ages for me to stop laughing and explain the background.
Take care, Rob 8)

Good luck, remember though, the crabs don't have a sense of humour! If you need a break from being 'terribly serious' log on and keep us updated!

Just before you go Tony, don't bother with the spare towel, you won't need it, or the soap, face cloth, washing powder, etc etc. take loads of anti-crab cream, and scratch in time with all the others.
