It's todays lads going through National Service and being "shouted at" and having to "do things"
Talk about taking the P
It's a cracker
But the real old boys who did it are passing thier comments.

Find the whole set up a farce as one recruit tells the Corporal.
Surely it is not to much to ask them to try for 30 days, not exactly a long time. I think I am beginning to turn into an old man" When I was a lad, we had no telly, and live on bread and tripe"
The wife found it hilarious when they ate there scran mixed up as peole think it strange that I put all courses on one plate, was the norm to her, she now sees where I get it from.
I would love to be able to eat that much scran, though would rather use hands than a spoon.
She is now trying to understand the mentality when I actually went camping with her and cut a spot for the tent with a pair of scissors.

LADS army
I thought the only piece of total crap was the shrink.
Thoroughly entertaining and an eye opener to many, I am sure.
The 30 day point is acknowledged, but the mental impact starts from day one, it is the motive behind 'volunteering' that drives that.
I see the nine-bob note got sussed pretty quickly, is he the next to leave his boots behind?
Perhaps Deaf Ant will now learn why so much effort is put into looking after your kit!
