Does anyone know what exactly the army feels on a person having arthritis?
I have read loads of stuff saying chronic conditions such as Rheumatoid arthritis forbid you from entering as either an officer or soldier.
When I was nine i was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in my right knee and had recurring visits to hospital until around 10-11 years old. I also had a couple of operations to inject steroids (my right leg is still built like a brick sh*thouse!). I haven't had any pain or problems with my knee since then and I am reasonably fit.
Can any of you guys clear this up for me, what do the army think of arthritis? Do they just not like Rheumatoid arthritis?
Should I bother going for my AOSB briefing interview?
