Joining the TA with a past

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody could offer up some advice please, in 93 I recieved an Admin discharge after informing my tp/sgt that I thought I may of taken a few drags of a cannabis ciggarette I was that p"£ssed that you could of passed me a turd and called it a gyros and i would of eaten it anyhow it was proved that i did and fully accepted the discharge as I knew the policy , although albeit very begrudgingly anyway 15 years later and completed service in the foreign legion and now currently working in a security role for a local goverment office I was thinking about trying to join the TA would this be possible the offence was a one off never touched the shit again and would cut off the toes of anyone who tried to offer me it.

so as I say any advice would be greatfully recieved.

Your best bet would be to ring up which ever TA unit you wish to join and ask them about it. They're more lax about previous drug use these days however, the fact you were discharged because of it may make a difference.

Just give them a ring, all they can do is say no.
