I created this petition further to one of my earlier posts. It is shocking that some people out there have served their country for many years and don't have an official award to show for it.

Bloody hell, the yanks practically get a medal for posting a letter to a war zone.

What total bollochs a medal for serving 6 months or more in the military.
Crap ,rubbish, Next you will be asking for medals for NAAFI damagers.

You can do 6 months in the forces and never have left training due to back squads injuries etc. and you want to give them a medal.
You can also go through your training and go operational in less than 6 months and earn your medal.

As a matter of fact, I served 6 months in Bosnia before I even did a recruits course. That's how shitty organised the T.A is. They even made me do a recruit course after I got demobbed!
