Well H, does this mean you're finally the only gay in the village? 8)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/6429425.stm

"Actor John Inman, most famous for the comedy Are You Being Served?, has died in London aged 71, his spokesman said."

Used to like the "are you being served?" series... Amusing.

Big enough to get pubes caught up in though I'll bet
Still, it'd save a fortune in dental floss :P

Not bad shooting from three metres though, hey? 8)

I never liked this kind of humour, or Frank Spencer or the bowel wrenching Allo Allo :(
It just isn`t funny to me :-?
Fools and horses set a standard and these others failed to hit the mark
Fast Show, Vic and Bob, and bits(small bits) of Little Britain, Monty P, BANZAI etc. That`s humour. Tommy Cooper, even Morecambe and Wise
Some old queen saying "I`m free" every week is not funny :(

Mind you, it worked for Ted Heath

Enjoy your weekend, girls

"Call me Bubbles". Yes. "Being served?" was very amusing, though. There's no accounting for taste, but hey...
Did you clock Molly Sugden in a "Little Britain" episode, getting knifed in the back in a restaurant? Or Inman as Darth Vader on a French & Saunders special?
Funny stuff...
How's "Clatterford", then..? :o

Watched one episode of that Jam and Jerusalem (Clatterford in the US)...didnt think much of it.
Mind you, its not too far removed from what goes on where I live. Maybe thats why I didnt find it very funny.
Same as I didnt really find the "local shop" sketch in League of Gentlemen very funny cos that is just like our local shop. Its too scarey in there to be funny

Don`t forget I come from a land down under, where women glow and men chunder.
Where Neighbours, Kath and Kim, Bluey and Priz Cell Block H are considered to be on a par with the finest playwrites of France and England

Where is the Australian equivalent of Les Liason Dangereux :-?
Home and Away perhaps :-?

OZ tv loves that shite, Paullie
Highlight of many people`s viewing down here is a prog called "SCI New Zilland"
Sounds good no?
Till you watch it and realise it`s about some biffs in the NZ Bill who take half an hour of airtime to sort out simple car smash incidents
Serious Crash Investigations would defo be the biggest no- :( brainer ever.
