Finally an LAC

Post by wannabe_bootneck »

JUst thought I'd let you all nkow I passed out of Capitals Flt. on Friday 15th September and am now officially a rockape and it feels damn good. Proudest day of my life marching on in front of my family. It was never easy and often bloody hard going, but it has all paid off and I am happy to say I amde it through on course as an original, I'm now excitedly looking ahead to a hopefully bright career with my corps.....feels good to be able to call it that. To the corps!

Strange isn't it but Friday was my last working day in the Regt after 23 years. Well done lad and crack on.

I am quite emotional now.

Regards

PS Must have some sort of splinter/dust in my eyes cos they are all watery.

Good effeort mate,

now sit back and enjoy your time, many friendships will be made and many experiences enjoyed.

as most rocks say

you will be feeling 10 feet tall

until as i remember getting to yer first sqn

as i did when all the 1 sqn piled off 4 tonners in the sqn compond at laarbruch
i must admit to saying what the f**c have i let myself into as all these scary
hairy creatures formed up in flights

after 3 years i didnt want to leave

Cheers ladies and gents, yeah I have my posting I am off to the ends of the Earth with 51. Things have got so bad now, basically every flight passing out are getting posted to the next 2 squadrons off out on ops, this has happened for the last 2 courses to pass out. Capitals Flt victim....I like that, gives you that little extra sense of pride though passing out from Caps....know what I mean Reginald?
