Which way do you swing?

Post by james_m »

I do not think this topic has been covered before.

So, which way do you swing?

I see in todays papers that the Conservative are edging over Labour in the polls.

I have never really taken much notice about this rubbish before and have never bothered to vote, but now that I am going for Officer I had better take notice!!

Cheers

Stricly opportunistic.

Well im going for the rather not say option, because discussing politics is a minefield in itself and im not getting into a fight unless it involves semi naked men and lots of mud :D

You dont actually say which one you would vote for and the reasons why, as my grannie always said, you dinnae start an argument unless you have made your point clearly and are sure of your facts. She also said that sitting on a cauld dyke would give you piles - never happened!!

Well observed Flo. I didn't say which way I would vote as I don't really know. Never really followed politics that much except what I hear my parents chatting about and what I catch on the News.

Which party offers the Armed Forces the best future?

I used to think Labour were the one to go for but to be honest I now think they are pretty crap with all the immigration etc etc...

Then again, could any other Government do any better? probably not.

BNP for me baby.

Yeah all the way.

Nah if I ever get round to voting it will be Ukip cause IIRC they want to get out of the european union, which is what I want.

No good will come no matter who gets in unfortunately...

The best way to cause nause on a military forum is to ask stupid questions like this.

Politics and Religion always cause trouble.

Fair point, just thought I might provoke some banter. Don't want to start a fight.

Thank you Flo, even "spark" would have been better. I think it was because I had read Artists post who was talking about causing a fight and so "provoke" was in my head at the time.

Yep spark is good but it means to ignite, which is not a good thing to do, and my grannie also used to say that many a fight was won by words and the wiser and more articulate the words the better they were to confuse and fool the enemy

Och my granny was great :D
