Just had a quick look. Some smart blokes over there :silly: (sure there'll be some good'uns as well but couldn't be arsed to wade through all the juvenille bragging). Honestly, it sounds like my little boy talking with his mates about which Bionicle is the best. The worrying thing is that they all probably have a vote :o

Happy hunting Jackal, a bit like shooting fish though mate.

The Eropean Union recognizes its own economic and political power as the euro rises further and becomes the world's other reserve currency. In November 2000, Iraq began selling its oil for euros, moving away from the post-World War II standard of the US dollar as the currency of international trade. While seen by many at the time as a bizarre act of political defiance, it has proved beneficial for Iraq, with the euro gaining almost 25% against the dollar during 2001. It now costs around USD$1.05 to buy one Euro. Baghdad's switch from the dollar to the euro for oil trading was intended to rebuke Washington's hard-line on sanctions and encourage Europeans to challenge it.

In May 2004 an additional 10 member nations will join the European Union. At that point, the EU will represent an oil consumer 33% larger than the United States. In order to mitigate currency risks, the Europeans will increasingly pressure OPEC to trade in euros, and with the EU at that stage buying over half of OPEC oil production.

The effect of an OPEC switch to the euro would be that oil-consuming nations would have to flush dollars out of their (central bank) reserve funds and replace these with euros. The dollar would crash anywhere from 20-40% in value and the consequences would be those one could expect from any currency collapse and massive inflation (think Argentina currency crisis, for example). You'd have foreign funds stream out of the U.S. stock markets and dollar denominated assets, there'd surely be a run on the banks much like the 1930s, the current account deficit would become unserviceable, the budget deficit would go into default, and so on. Your basic 3rd world economic crisis scenario.Lets face it my American people the Europeans want to destroy the American economy to become the new super power of the world.
Every one US1ARMY has writren that the Mighty Ammerican's r saying that :

.Lets face it my American people the Europeans want to destroy the American economy to become the new super power of the world. So US1ARMY shiting your selfs r u ?? Well u dont wana piss of those great friends of your GERMANY,FRANCE now do u. The Euro and Dollar no thanks, its all about the £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££.
