Off hunting wild boar Saturday as a matter of fact, but to give them a sporting chance it will be with a 1909 Mauser. Last time I went out I got nothing other than frostbite so I dont have my hopes up for a fresh meat Sunday dinner. Got three hours booked on a 300m range in the afternoon so hopefully the day will be fun without anybloodshed. Aint really into sport shooting involving animals but have been invited on a hunt/shoot day by my local Alpine Reserves Shooting/who can drink more Weiss Bier club. I think its most likely that no wild boar end up feeling worse for wear Sunday but I do think there will be a few humans with headaches.
Incidently spent 10 days in Czech republic tracking wolves in an area that is deemed as a wolf sanctuary earlier this month and as a holiday it was the bees knees, actually saw wolves living in wild after 4 days of aimlessly(so it appeared) wandering around with a CZECH guide who seemed more interested in how he could get a UK passport than actually tracking the `protected` wolf community we were supposed to be watching. He also tried to sell one of his sisters to me, well i think that was what he was trying to do as the conversation was broken English and German.
Needless to say when we did manage to track down a pack of wolves it was an awesome experience. Will post a link when i can find it as I am on laptop away from house at mo.
As it was my first holiday for a while I am still trying to work out why the hell i didnt go somewhere hot cos its freezin here at the moment......
Gonna have to get round to writing that letter to the MOD asking for my braincells back(both of them) at some point.

I always find that when i look around there are loads of things to shoot at but as soon as the gun comes out....they all bugger off!
Personally, i would love a hunting licence to shoot all thoase little cretins that hang out on corners making twats of themselves and kicking footballs at cars! Little b******ds!

Great idea!
The Best Is Yet To Come
Wholley,
What is a cretine licence?
In the UK you have to get an FAC for any pistol that exceeds more than 6lbs or power and any rifle that exceeds 12lb of power, once you get an FAC you can shoot pretty much any power of firearms within reason (not sure about pistols though, automatic rifles ect).
