Strange thread ….lovely humour from ye Old & Bold….

I remember that quite a few of us had a Retention problem similar to Elmer’s – on the Snow and Cold Weather Warfare course with Punchy Goddard. (60’s) -

Anyone would suffer from retention when they’ve lived on Norwegian
bread, caraway seed cheese and reindeer for a while at thirty C’s minus.
I think that thirteen days 'retention' - cured by pills requisitioned from the
mountain horse team at Skjold was my record.
