Okay Wholley I support the President, but really this is costing us and the Brits alot of money. We like the UK they like us so why does Bush have to stay in the Castle? I don't know why it cost's so much, and what is the purpose? Sounds like the UK folks aren't interested and CNN forgot to tell us.

Hey Whitey.
Difference is,this is a State visit.
So he gets to meet Brenda and Nick the Greek, aka The Queen And Prince Phillip.
He will be staying at Buckingham Palace, not a castle.
I think the people in the UK may be a little more interested than they let on,it's been widely covered in the British press.
I'm sure there will be anti-war protests and maybe even a bomb scare or two,but the British are used to that stuff.

Why the expenses though? I thought a Palace was a castle. If I was a King I'd want a castle.

A ring of steel, 700 Agents surrounding a President, must be a special person eh, popular to the nth degree with Joe Bloggs. I'm sure the Great British Public will show their affection for Dubya in the most befitting way and boycott the whole event.

How about we do everyone a favour and stick him in the tower.

Also I just found out the Gov have denied Bush's secret service boys diplomatic immunity if they accidently shoot anyone. Good on 'em but I'm surprised Blair agreed to it.

He would probably be safer in the tower of London. The crown Jewels have not be touched and the walls are thick as hell. One way in and one way out, surrounded by a moat. They could fill the moat with the Secret service guys... all round protection anyone?
I'm not sure if he is bringing the estate car with the machine gun mounted in the back.

I see that the police in Central London will now be at the strength of 14000 for his visit, more than all the troops we have in Iraq. Perhaps it would be safer for him to go to that country, that is where he has freed all of those downtrodden people, I'm sure he would be welcome with open arms.

I heard a report this morning that stated that Bush's security people wanted some structural changes made to Buckingham Palace, but the request was vetoed by the Queen.

Should this report be factual, are these people so ignorant and arrogant that they would try to change hundereds of years of history. Perhaps they think that they are on a Hollywood set.

Dunno whether it is factual but the ample evidence of their ignorance and arrogance provided by Iraq tends to make me think it is.

I wonder if Georgie Porgie will be pinning the Gold Medal to Tone's pinstripes, this week, I understand it is a bit of an embarrassment, some reports I have read is that the medal has been struck but they can't find it.

What the hell has the guy done to be awarded with the highest American honour to be bestowed on a foreign civilian?

To be honest I am amazed that he knows where the UK is!

He seems to have the brain of an over excited jellyfish! (thank the Lord for the minders who keep doseing him with them thar drugs!) Ifen he ever gets the idea of taking on the world I bet B'liar will be "UP THERE" with him. Just give them the same drugs. (Arsenic springs to mind)
