Chrisp, since I am bored, I will expand on my original comment, in case you are one of those people who only recognise irony if it is rolled up into a tight tube and used to bear you round the head.

Your original comment was very vague, did you mean the British Parachute Regiment ? those who wear a maroon beret or those who wear para wings? This would include the Corps, RAF Regiment Royal Navy etc.

Some would argue that the 82nd Airborne are better equipped, at least with their radios they can talk to their helicopter support. Plus the 2nd REP always scared the Cr*p out of me.

The people who have passed 'P' Company and the AA Parachute course know exactly how tough they are and do not need to have their ego's boosting.

So what was the point of your post ???

You have given us your opinion, but as has been pointed out so many times on this Forum - 'opinions are like arse*oles, everybody has one, and most of them stink'.

I am sure you will take this constructive criticism in the spirit it is offered . If not screw you.

Look forward to some interesting and well thought out posts from you in the future.

you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength, and just pull that shit out of you, and get that motivation to not give up, and not be a quitter no matter how bad you wanna fall flat on your face
