I have heard you can be denied entry to the army because of simply being diagnosed with asthma, I was diagnosed as a young child, about 6 or 7 and since then have only been effected by it on a couple of occasions, I still take daily meds but haven't suffered any notable effects for maybe ten years do you think this would be enougth to deny me entry?

It depends what is written on your medical notes, but when so many are applying for the forces that have nothing wrong with them at all, then your guess is as good as mine.
