RAF Police

Hi all,

Am new here!

But i'm interested in a career in the RAF Police.

I've worked in retail security for over a year and as a door supervisor for approx 2 years.

Just wondered what the requirements we're in the fitness test eg, what they expect of you and what the training is like for the entry etc

Also, wheres the best place to apply or register interest?

As I know of Army recruitment centre's but no RAF one's (unless it's all the same)

theres normally a tri-service AFCO in each major city, i.e leeds, manchester... and so on

the AFCO is the only place you can register your interest properly. if you do it online, yo ustill have to go to the afco.

not sure what the fitness requirements are for raf police

should imagine they are no less than the standard minimum

44 press ups in 2 mins
44 sit ups in 2 mins
1.5 mile in under 11 mins or 3 miles in under 22
heaves 6+
