Another Newbie

Post by 1033 »

Just wanted to say hello, many will know me from over in the ARmy Rumour SErvice as Gundulph.

Started a venture together with MittMayo, another former Sapper, to help those who need help but aren't under Help 4 Heroes or the RBL etc.

We produce Military style Challenge Coins, for every coin sold we donate 2 Pounds to Holidays 4 Heroes, who not only provide much needed holidays to the families of wounded but also of fallen servicemen and women as well as a few needy cases of soldiers finding themselves homeless and feel they have no one to turn to.

Cheers,

Great Forum by the way!

The Military style Challenge Coins sound interesting, can we read up any further information about them?

The Challenge Coins

Post by 1033 »

I thought you may have known me from the ARRSE Forum hence making the Sandbag Quote, but believe it or not I am the Co-Author

Okay, the Challenge Coins -

We started the Challenge Coin site up to help Holidays 4 Heroes, i.e. to bring them in a steady stream of income to help with their needy cases, you can read all about them here:

http://www.ukchallengecoins.com/hols4heroes_5.html

I have been designing and producing Military style Challenge Coins for the past 10 years since leaving the Royal Engineers and it's been a bit of a hobby of mine all this time. Every Coin purchased makes a direct donation of 2 Pounds to Holidays 4 Heroes.

Many Celebs and Famous people are helping by buying a Coin, even General Dannatt has one:

http://www.ukchallengecoins.com/general_dannatt_9.html

There are pics of many people with them on FaceBook including Johnson Beharry and another V.C. holder as well as Ray Winstone, Lorraine Kelly, the model Jodie Gasson and many others.

You can see the Website for the Coins here:

http://www.ukchallengecoins.com/

The Veterans Coin is getting lots of great reviews and is very popular...

I have already bought two.
One is mine and the other will be given to my son when he is old enough to Pub it.
They look fantastic guys and well worth buying, as the money goes to a great cause and they make you look cool!

Sounds good Beast!

Many thanks, we also do custom Challenge Coins for any Units/Organisations etc. and are starting to get British Units interested in coins for their own Units, which we do at a special discount.

Cheers,

AL...

Many Thanks for the Book details added to the site, appreciate that.

Beast, do you have a newsletter or anything that you send out to all Members? I was wondering if you could add the Veteran Challenge Coin to one?
