I did ADSC in July and start March 2010

so I would imagine ur in for a bit of a wait

The dog handler job is one of the most popular so I hear, and some positions get filled with transfers so ur gonna have to excell at the selection

I had a foot injury lately so not much right now but generally quite a bit of running, also press/sit ups, triceps dips, 'dorsal raises' etc

Dog Handler was 1 of my 3 choices actually, but my recruiter said it's such a mission to get into that corps that I should focus on Combat Medic

Have u done ADSC yet?

Still waiting then Seb?

Me too. My interview's after yours I think. Have you found anything more out about the interviews?

As far as I can make out from the joining instructions all we do is have a guided tour and demos, a fitness test then the interviews.

I just can't wait to get it over and done with.

Can't wait

Post by welshnoggin »

I can't wait either. It's been so long since I applied. I'm hoping my fitness won't be a problem as I've been working hard on it. :multi:

That website was very useful thank you. Especially the bit that takes you through the two day process. Things are so much easier if you have an idea of what to expect.

All the best Seb. Let me know how you get on.

It was a bit intense wasn't it. I did my best, and came away with no regrets. I didn't leave thinking I wish I said this and that which is the main thing. Just got to wait and see. Seems a looooong time til next week! I'm glad you did well. All the best. :)
