Is it not in week 7 you can go home for a long weekend? Either way once you come back from your little break you then do the remaining 6 or 7 weeks. After you pass out you have abit of leave then its on to phase 2 training.

Yeah, But as said above you do 6-7 then have a 2 week break. It's not 20 weeks straight...

After week 6 you get a long weekend, you also get 2 weeks off during the training the weeks you get these 2 weeks varies, you also have another long weekend off after P Coy.

Some weekends after week 6 you will get off but some you will be doing PT, rifle lessons, chuch parades etc.

Got all this to come in a month :) do we start work at 5 in the morning and finish 10 at night?

This is my dad explaining it " When its pissing down with rain, your soaked through, you've had 4 hours sleep at the most and you've had nothing to eat. Then you've got to tab 20 miles, thats when you get lads who jack". This is in the pub, beer chat lol

He makes it sound like every day at Depot its pissing down lol

Anyone got any useful bits of kit i can get in that won't be on the kit list? Not sure if your aloud to take insoles for your boots? my bro said to get some.

yep start at 5 but nope finish later if your still helping out other lads who are monging it with their kit for mornings inspection... or perhaps still squaring away your own kit! be very ready for long days and little kip and also running everywhere...woe betide if your caught walking!

dont be silly, at 0800 your section commander brings you breakfast in bed, when you are ready to get up, you stroll to the shower and play with your balls, your platoon seargent then comes to see who fancies doing a bit of drill. In the evening it's chocolate fondu and marshmallows, when you're done, back comes the section commander to tuck you in at 2200. Sometimes theres a parade for all the platoons together outside, but dont go to that one, they dont mind.
To be honest though dont worry about little things like that, just concentrate on the next thing like adsc, the insight course, the new additional selection thing or whatever is next, and keeping your fitness up.
