i was on my 3mile run last week and when i got home my feet were killing so i put them up to rest and the next morning the pain was unbareable and its been like that for a week now and i dont know what to do, i know the reason why because i was running in my lacoste trainers what are gust flat foot and have no support. if anyone has got any idea what i can do as im in alot of pain. i am 17

Oh dear, sounds like you've injured yourself, so probably best to visit your GP or ask a nurse at your local hospital.

Get some proper running trainers before you do any more running, they don't have to be expensive ones.

Good luck and I hope your ankle is OK.

Give it the RICE treatment.

Rest - Self explanatory
Ice - Ice your ankle in 10 minute cycles
Compression - Bandage your ankle up to support it, or buy an ankle support or compression sock.
Elevation - raise your foot above the level of your hip to reduce the pain & swelling.

This isn't an instant fix, but dramatically reduces recovery time.

its all good lads, my ankles are back to normal after nearly 2 weeks rest, now back to my running after i bought some running shoes :D

Ease yourself back into your running and break your new trainers in before you hammer it :D
