You might want to pack enough stuff to sort out blisters and chafing.

Take a basic one that you can add to.
You can get little travel ones that are ready packed in camping shops.

If you want to make your own, things like assorted plasters, antiseptic cream (like Savlon),
blister plasters, elastoplast, nail scissors (to cut nails and plasters/elastoplast),
and perhaps things like sore throat sweets and basic painkillers (paracetomol/aspirin).

Generally you'll be administered proper first aid when and where necessary, the idea is that you have some of your own for in the field or to deal with simple cuts and grazes that occur day-to-day.

Don't take painkillers you are allergic to, don't use them if you're told not to, I'm not an instructor or a medic and this is just a list of some of the things I have in my first aid kit.

Buy a sh*tload of LEUKO TAPE for your feet, the medics will sort the rest if you need it.

I'd advize a couple decent First aid boxes (little green ones) and some of your own stuff, plasters, vaselene, blister pads.. bring diss infectant wipes too, i spent a week monging about with an infected toe because i had a cut and done the steeple chase, but sorted it with a wipe and some vago'lene lol. but yeah it's adviseable to bring some of your own kit.
