How long after interview do you get a date for selection

Post by pankaye »

hello. this is my first post. i am applying to join army (PWRR) and i am really looking forward to it. i have gone through all the initial steps in application (BARB , medical forms, interviews etc) my career office even had us do a 1.5 miler to asses fitness. my question is this: I had my interview with my recruiter on 16 Feb and the office manager later on the same day. my recruiter said i did really well and that she would get in touch with a date for me to go to selection. but it almost 2 weeks now and still no word :( . how long does it take to get a date for selection? i am very anxious i can't even leave my cellphone in me room when i go to pee or shower. any word would be appreciated

i know. i phoned my recruiter three days after the interview because she did say 2 days. basically she told me in pretty strong terms to wait until she contacted me. so there i am not knowing if she phoned home whilst i was out and me checking my voice mail every 1 hour in case it went straight to voicemail

After your interviews your Recruiter then clicks you forward on the system, they then have to wait for ADSC to find you a date!

Your recruiter gets an alert by e mail each morning, they will call when they see you have a date on the system.
You just have to wait mate ringing up wont make ADSC move any faster.

Yes. Pretty sure if you get it down to 10 minutes, you won't find selection as hard, also more chance of actually getting sent off for selection.

Oh i just came back. it was brilliant. it was actually easier than i thought. but that could be because i was really prepared to give it all. its easier than expected if you do some preparation. i will try and give a blow by blow account later. but thanks for all your help. pm me if u specific question.
