I'm not looking forward to basic in the winter lol, got my joining instructions so been buying all the stuff I need, i spent over 200
Did you know that when you sign your oath of allegience you also get your soilder number
Where did you do your selection??

Nuttty, since you're a Brighton lad, get yourself to http://www.bmfbrighton.com/ and get to some of the sessions. Let them know you start in a few weeks and they'll put you through your paces for a perfect preparation. I should know, they got me through my PRMC

Well i did my selection in april so its taken me 6 months to get my actual start date, thats only because you have to do another selection if you want to go into the nursing corps because they only have a limited amount of places each year and the next selection for the nursing was in august. So i went for that selection in august and then 3 days later i got a call from my careers centre telling me i had passed and my start date was 20th october
I sign my oath on the 7th which is when i get my soilder number cant wait..
how far along are you becci?? and what you wanting to join??

I am looking to go into REME as a mechanic or RLC as a driver or Royal Signals it has taken me a little while to get here but it gives me more time to train.

your careers officer will get the forms back and contact you, if your medical forms get the all clear then your careers officer will put your name in for selection and you will have to wait until you here back from them for a date but it doesn't take to long.
I hope all goes well for you
If you got any more questions just ask im happy to help, make sure you get your spellings right though

I did mine in 10.36 which was really fast for me because at home i was doing it in 12 mins so i was suprised when i did so well, must have been the adrenalin lol.
How have you got your soilder number already, i want mine
lol
Whats Pirbright like? 21 days and it's going to be my new home
And just sit tight Becci it will happen soon just look at it as a chance to get fitter. Keep up your training and by the time you get to selection you will pass with flying colours
