So is mine. When you push it in it gets stuck. Fine except that it waits 10 mins then shuts down if you don't unstick it it. What a pain in the backside!!

David

PS I didn't break it.....

Guy's, take off the front and have a look. Could just need cleaning. It happens sometimes due to the static electricty the tower builds up, attracting all sorts of crap.

Little tough prising the front off a laptop AJ,
which is what I believe Picaso is using.
Better off spraying some switch cleaner on it and then some compressed air onto the keyboard to get the dust out.
Just a thought.

Hmm, if it is a Desktop then remove the front like AJ said and have a little look. Some computers you can hotwire just like car :P, others actually have a little button behind the switch which you can use instead of the switch getting stuck.

Sorry mate, 'the force' was weak that time so I was unable to establish if it was a P.C or a laptop.
I'll try harder next time.

You're not the only one who's had computer problems Artist!

I've got a shiny new laptop now though, so I'm back in black!

Recently had some prob's with the nice people at Orange.
Not very helpful to say the least.
Spotty connection for the last month and then dead for forty eight hours.
Help-line was as much good as a snooze button on a smoke alarm.
I'm thinking Sky. :o

Sorry I'm taking so long to reply over the last day or so,managed to shatter my ulna and break my radius and humorus in my right arm.
Typing with my left hand is a little slow and mouse use is intriguing to say the least
