Royal Marines Mountain Leader Documentary

Post by add01 »

This programe was on Discovery knowledge the other night and is repeated on the 28th feb at 11. It was about the mountain leader course, folowing a group as they take the 8 month course. Including mountain training in wales, scotland and norway aswell as capture evasion, survival and other very interesting stuff! It was a good watch and recomended to all!

Once again 28th of feb Discovery Knowledge 11 pm.

Its called "elite commandos: the royal marines"

A good thing to watch. Was made over ten years ago in point of fact.

I've seen that.
If you watch it then you'll see how to conceal some pasta (I think it was that) when out in the field and then get busted for it.
It'll also mention about how sometimes, sheep just get lost and die. :P

This was first on years ago, a very good program I thought.

The Marines with the tache was on 50-year old Commando I think.

It's bound to be somewhere on the net already, it's been shown on TV numerous times.

If this is the same programme that was first screened a good number of years ago, it is called Behind The Lines. There was a follow up programme sceened 10 years after called "Behind The Lines Ten Years on".

It sounds the same. However, it may be a more upto date version of it?
