I dont think it matters relly, aslong as you have a good breakfast, dinner and lunch and you are eating healthy so you keep your energy up.
Im not sure this will help you but this is what I do-
1.5mi run (every other day) in the morning 9am
pressups- 4 sets through out the day 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm
Situps- 4 sets through out the day 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm
Dorsal Raise- 4 sets through out the day 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm
but im also going to start following my fitness guide I was given aswell.

I've heard quite I few different view’s about when to train. I read that you should always do you're strength work before running and conditioning. But plenty of people run in the morning and some people say it helps fat loss (weather there is any truth or not behind that statement... I'm not knowledgeable enough to say) either way if you get all you're training in I can't see the time you train making a great deal of difference... find what works best for you and be sure to eat right sleep plenty and train hard!
Personally I do some strength work early in the morning (6-7 o'clock) to kick start my day. just wakes me up, get the heart pumping and metabolism going. I then knock a load of food down me neck. Brown bread toast/scrambled eggs/ whole grain cereal/ milk / fresh fruit either whole or as a home made smoothie etc.
Then I’m in school till 3:30 home by 4:00 and train again at around 6 ish (usually running/circuiting(home or at boxing)/playing cricket)
I don't know weather what I do is "the right thing to do" but I feel good for it and it fit's into my schedule nicely.
Stokey

I should really start training early then just to get used to it even if it doesnt make to much difference otherwise it wil b a bit of a shock to the system wen they wake me up for a 3 miler at six in the morning. i do eat quite good and train well just cant wait to get down lympstone. thanx for the input lads.

Oh 1 more thing mate, im not sure what you eat just before your run but dont have too much OR ORANGE JUCIE lol (I learnt that the hard way
) I have a nice big glass of water and a peice of my homemade energy flapjack bar or some weatabix or something along those lines and that is just enough and isnt to heavy on your stomach allowing you to run faster.

ive read before that if your weight training then the best time to do it is in the afternoon, someting about your muscles being at their optimum;not still asleep from the morning and not too late in the day to be tired, how important this is i dont know.as for cardio, well aslong as its not too close to your betime i dont think it matters.ive heard your also not supposed to do cardio before your weight training, although this probably wouldnt matter much if you did them in seperate sessions.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour'
Ive always been pretty fit playing footie and that but never realy tested myself on long runs wen i actually did do a 3 miler it took me 22 mins and 1.5 in 10.45 so i wrote myself a programe and started working on it. its been about 5 weeks since i started doing it every day other than 2 days rest. ive been reading about the marines non stop and watching clips on you tube and it just spurs me on if you want sumfing that bad you should work your hardest to achieve it. Do a forest gump and keep running

But then when you eat later in the day your body has no use for the excess calories and so stores them as fat, thus you lost fat then gained it. Whereas eating, then running later will use up the calories you've just eating, thus no lost fat, but no more stored fat. If you eat less than you need you'll lose fat, eat more you'll gain it; where in relation to eating you exercise has no major effect.
A far more important aspect is making sure you don't feel sick etc. when excercising which would cause you to stop; many people suffer this if they try to exercise after 9/10 hours without eating. Also if the body is needed to raid fat supplies as there is a large defecit in calories required then the next time you eat it will store all calories it can; to do with our ancestors way of living, the body goes into a state where it thinks food is in short suppl so maximises storage of spare calories - 9/10 hours is a long time and most/all energy gained from the previous meal will be gone.
