Post by MarkBunt »

ive finally got running down i think but now i got an idea well i used to do it at footie training start at one side of the pitch do 10 push ups then go tothe other side then do 9 then back 8 and so on... (width ways) could also do sits ups.. star jumps or something..

Any good? can you think of anything which would be good to add in there?

Yeah run the Length of the pitch for a start! I know your not been lazy mate so am not having a go but it all helps, and the sprints you'll be doing down Lympstone will be a lot longer than the width of a footie pitch.

Its only 10 times mate so crack on :D

Burpees, Press ups ect. Personally I do my circuits in boxing. Give it a go, even if you don't like the sparing you can always do the training, it's great.

If its a footie pitch you could even do pull ups on the goal posts, as long as they are quite sturdy.
Also squat thrusts, tuck jumps, dorsal raises, or you could hold the press up position for a certain length of time at either end, say 30 seconds, then sprint, then 30 seconds, and repeat x 10.
