You'll be happy tonight then

Yesterday's match was boring, it was derby stuff rather than attractive football. But tonight, Utd were truly awful, not one spark of inspiration. Milan were lethal but didn't really apply pressure, just took their chances. The difference was in the middle of the park, Milan shut the game down when Utd went forward, and used the ball well when they attacked. At times it looked like Utd were playing with 9 men. Poor.

Shame, was looking forward to an all-English final. Just gotta hope Liverpool can pull it off in Athens now.

Hmmm I'm not quite sure who I want to win... I see Liverpool as a "real club" I.E. not brought by a rich Russians and covered in big bank notes and not followed by prawn sandwich eating non local fans. But I was mentally scared as a young child sitting watching my beloved Stoke get a 8-0 gubbing by Liverpool

I suppose I should follow the English team...

Not too fussed will be a good match to watch hopefully just as dramatic as last years.

Stokey

P.S. There's a much bigger game on Sunday after noon ( Stoke vs. QPR) :P hopefully the mighty potters can push on and get into the premiership at long last!

Eh? :o

Liverpool are one of the very biggest clubs in the world with non-local fans. Not so much in England - at least not to the extent of Man Utd, Arsenal and (now they're winning stuff) Chelsea, but just about the whole of Asia supports either them or Man Utd

Yer I guess you’re right, that was just me having a stab at Manchester United, but I still believe Liverpool are a "real" club and there is a mostly scourers in the Cop where as at Altraford I'd place a bet that 40% maybe more weren’t Mancs born and bread the where the glory hunting mob that follow them because there a big team.

Football has become a game where people go for a family day out to be entertained not a day to go and show you’re loyalty for you’re local club. I know this is probably a controversial view but I feel that you should support you’re local club be it Manchester United, Stoke, Cardiff or Halifax town.

Granted, Scousers and the North East are arguably the most patriotic (wrong word, but you know what I mean) fans...
