PRMC Passed!!
Well lads, just got back about an hour ago with my pass certificate and a nice new pair of boots. Feeling well chuffed as i didnt think i was ready to go down, but it just goes to show if you want it bad enough you will pass. Course started with about 49, think we ended up with about 29 passes, one of whom was Matt from the forum so think thats a 100% record for MFAT at this PRMC. I might write a bit of a diary tomorow, but at the moment i cant be arsed as im pretty mullered. For those who care my scores were:
Pressups: 55
Situps: 60
Pullups: 6
3 miler: Passed

My 3 miler time was just over 21 minutes before i went down, which was one of the main reasons why i thought i wasnt ready to go down as there are lots of people who post their times on here of around 18 and 19 minutes. All i can say to this is dont look at their times and think anything of it, the 3 mile run is run in pretty much 22.5 minutes with not much of a warm up, so even if you could only do 3 miles in that time, there is no reason why you would not make it. Obviously it would be best to get the your time down as much as possible so the rest of the course might be a bit easier, but dont think much about how fast you can run 3 miles in as it is the easiest test on the course. Basically if you can run 3 miles at an average pace and not stop you will be fine. Some of the lads who failed the course were saying how they could do 3 miles in 18 minutes, but they're not the ones with a nice new pair of boots! Its how badly you want it that matters!

Hey Sammy, I just got back myself but didn't meet anyone called sam on the course... that said, I didn't learn many names there :p. Which room were you in and what colour/number were you? I was blue 9 "White"
Anyway, good job again fella. Hope to see you at RT!
ps. I'll be writing up a dairy tomorrow once I've got my energy back.
