Trainers Issued during RT????
Erm they dont feel like military boots no but what do you expect from a pussers issued trainer.
I think there fine for running in i wouldnt say id buy a pair myself, especially since like i said you have an endless supply.
I got shin splints and these may have helped the problem but i doubt their going to issue you with some 90 quid nikes

yea i agree, they aren't going to get some fancy gucci pair of trainers for us when they know we're going to wreck them in due time. I say its nice of them to think of us and give us something for free, because they usually say nothing in the world is free, yet we get these trainers so be happy

Dunno if anyone else gets this, but I slide around in my shadows, not because they are too big for me, but you wear your black boots socks and the padding inside the shadows is slippery. After camp circuits this sliding makes your feets really hot because of the fricition and it sometimes burns- lol. Why do we have to wear such bad shoes, but the RM are supposed to be one of the best forces in the world. Just comes down to what Tony Blair once said, he wants the best forces, just the cheapest way possible.
yea ive found that the shadows are slippery as well but i don't have the sliding problem with my feet, its those socks, they slide to the front of the shoe and by the end of a gym period it looks like im wearing ankle socks because the friggin sock is at the front of the shoe!

Sounds like they're too big or not fastened tight enough. Both are a common mistake amongst lads today because of the fashion in civvy street of wearing loosely tied shoes. If a size smaller really is too small try sticking a pair of insoles in or tying tighter, or even wearing a pair of cotton socks under your pusser's ones (which really are utter crap - I have yet to work out how lads survived in the field week in week out without a pair of civvy socks underneath!).
