Commando Challenge

Post by FozzyNumber4 »

I'm not sure if you all know this already but I came across a charity event that makes use of the RM assault course. Sounds like fun :o

You can find more details at http://www.commandochallenge.co.uk/

Yea, I am going to do it twice! :o :D

I reckon that if some people are up for it then maybe we could put in a team?

Any thoughts
Cheers

Yeah it would all be well and good putting in a team BUT it's in October, so won't half of you be in recruit training, Uni. YO training etc..? But if we are going to enter it would have to be pretty sharpish because I read on the site something about them only accepting the first 50 teams. But it is on a Saturday, so maybe we could get time off or something?

If anyone drops out then you can count me in... just as long as someone else organises it!

I didnt think of that because most of us will be in training and that (hopefully). We could enter a team so that we get a place and then when the time comes who ever is still on here can go down. If that makes sense.

Indeed, BUUUUUUT (a big but) they want sponsor money and entry money in with the application forms, so if your willing to pay, and are aware that there is a possibility of not getting your money refunded if you can't attent, then full speed ahead!

It will be 30 notes each, unless you want to actaully get sponsored (£10 entery and a min. of £20 sponsor money- so in effect you could just pay £20 sponsor money yourself and say someone has sponsored you).
