Dropping Out
Dropping Out
hi guys. I was wondering, for those you who made it pass PRMC or POC but left training later, what was it that caused you to drop out - injury, failing a test...?
I'm curious to see what the common hurdles might be that cause people to stumble.

Whats wrong with hunter company?bish wrote:hi there, new to the forum- i left about 3 years ago now, was kinda funny didnt ever contemplate leaving whilst i was in a troop, but 3months in hunter coy really got me down and was desperate to go! regretted it ever since. i will re-join next year.
Wo zhu ni jian kang.
dave n, you hit the nail on the head! that is a big part of it, the other part that gets to you is the endless admin and kit musters. the hunter training staff werent really sure how to fill all the days of the week, seeing as the lads in hunter are all at various stages of training so its hard to make a program that suits everyone. either that or they couldnt be arsed! i'll make one thing clear though- the remedial PTI's are blinding, really top blokes.
I think Carlisle Youth was the first on here for a while to pass out as an original, or he was a few months back. Either Dan or Danny did as well, but that was a couple of years ago now!
Hunter is horrendous, if you're not doing phys you are doing admin, and you know that none of it's actually getting you anywhere. It was the only time I actually considered wrapping as a viable option, and I only had my tests left to do. Avoid!

I'd like to add that in Hunter 1, if you're not doing phys, you're looking for admin to do.druadan wrote:I think Carlisle Youth was the first on here for a while to pass out as an original, or he was a few months back. Either Dan or Danny did as well, but that was a couple of years ago now!
