IOT

Post by welsh bird »

Hey all,

As you are aware I am due to start IOT on sunday, and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me roughly what I should expect to happen on sunday evening ?

The green advice pamplett issued by Cranwell says that we will be taken to do our streaming run, and then basically fill out paperwork .. is this correct as I seem to have it in my head that you dont do the streaming run until about day three ?

Cheers

It is unlikely that you will do the run on the Sunday. You normally do it on the Wednesday, this has been the way with the last 2 courses. Basically you will go into the mess, speak to a cadet from senior sqn and then fill out paperwork for about 2 hourse, have dinner then the night is your own. Any major concerns and I will be around the mess at various points next week so speak to me then.

Turn up, pick up your bedding, find your room, do some paperwork, say hello to your new best mates, go to the bar.

Essentially that's it, the best way of meeting your new flight is in the bar!
