Couldnt have said it better myself, if its just a cold get down there and crack on.

How is training going Will?.

Clearly no one here knows the difference between a cold and a flu.

As I have said before I passed the PRMC with a torn hamstring tendon (professional sport players get surgury on this) and i am not someone that would pospone training because of a measly cold.

I totally disagree with you Will. If you have flu a week before you are due to go down your immune system will need a chance to recover before you get there. The training is so intense at CTC that you are likely to get ill at some point anyway - better not go in weak and be a liability from day 1.

With regard to "little niggles" as you call them - then I would agree, don't let that stop you. An ilness however, is an altogether different issue.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... 'F*ck, what a trip!'
