PGAC Schedule

Post by jon_rafreg »

I read in an RAF handout I was given recently that on the PGAC, candidates undertake a confidence course.

Is this correct because I haven't heard any mention of it on this site so far?

If this is the case is the confidence course a pass/fail part of the PGAC or a judgement of character?

Its the first Ive hered of it!

Im guessing Im in a simular boat to you! im in the proccess of getting fit for pgac.

I would assume that as the whole weekend is a pass or fail event then it falls in as part of that!

Dunno mate, would be a good idea so that it doesn't come as a shock in basics! :o PGAC is a good crack though, do they still do the tab/sprint?

Yes they do. OUCH! :(
When we're good they'll never remember,
When we're bad they'll never forget.

Nope they don't do the confidence test anymore, or at least they hadn't when we were talking to them in the mess. They still do the tab, though it is not a pass or fail thing, it is to test your strength of character. It isn't that far really, just grit your teeth and think of the mudguards and question why you want to put yourself through it.
