What Next?..........

Post by Gryllzy »

I would really appreciate it if someone could just clarify a few things for me..............I re-sat my AST in June, had my medical and interview. The AFCO then sent me a letter sayig something about putting me onto a provisional waiting list. Anyway I'm just wondering what happens next?
Any advice would be great,
Thanks,

Don't I have to do two more interviews? I'm sorry If I sound really dense! I was under the impression I had two more selection interviews.

if its anything like what i've done for pti trade you should now be waiting for your interview at your afco when places for your chosen trade come up.

i was same as you at the stage your at, i didn't have a clue what was coming next

Right, so what then? Once you have that interview is there more waiting? Or do you get your date pretty quick after that? I'm really excited you see. There still is a distinct possibility they could turn me down though isn't there? or is it "plane"* sailing from here? (*haha)
Thanks,

if the interview goes well then they may offer you a place. for certain trades you have to a further specialist interview but i'm not sure if steward is one of those trades, oh and plenty of waiting in between each stage is pretty standard. your afco will tell you if there is a specialist interview in your chosen trade, give em a call

Thanks for that. They did warn me I could be in for a long wait, but I'm soooooo excited!! I've already been waiting since July, which isn't too long compared to some people. Never mind good things come to those who wait! haha
