Cadets, back on topic

Post by pegasus »

Occasionally we get Army Regs coming back to Sqn offering help in form of providing visits and activities, so at least they appreciate that cadets was of some use to them. This week in our local paper they had piece about local lads out in Iraq over Christmas, all three featured we ex-squadron air cadets.

Cadets topics when started with the inital inference of something vaguely more interesting (say, the previous thread asking whether cadets helps in the 'real' military) are sensible and acceptable.

But why the need to start another one which actually has no other intent than to rant on about 'how great my air squadron is'? I'll put my neck on the line in saying that fear no-one actually cares what you are talking about.

Please cease and decist: You're boring me.

Well if some one is proud of what they have achieved and want to to speak about it, then why not.

Because 'they' haven't actually acheived anything.

Someone who used to be part of the organisation they are now part of joined the British Army. Well done. Want a medal?
