was at the AFCO today, got the appointment to sign the contract and so on...
just wanted to know:do they do this in groups(will others be there beside me)??
is it a "special occasion"(suit)???
what exactly does it involve??is it just a quick chat about the contract, then sign and go home??

Ich hatt' einen Kameraden,
Einen bessern findst du nicht.
Die Trommel schlug zum Streite,
Er ging an meiner Seite
Im gleichen Schritt und Tritt.

and as my dream was to be a soldier,Engineers was the obvious career choice!i'll just see how it goes, want to enjoy phase 1 first!!
good luck to you,boro!!

Cheers mate, i cant wait to start basic. Ive always wanted to be a soldier, and i cant believe im actually doing it at last! Yeah i suppose most elements of your phase two training will be stuff you already know, which can only help
Besides, as an electrician you get the best of both worlds eh, soldier and trademan!

yeah,thats exactly what i want!!really excited about starting training,too!!
as i have no job at the moment all i'm doing is a bit of training to keep fit...
time just doesn't seem to pass by when you hardly have things to do!!
but i might just fly home to Germany for another week,as i don't know when i'll have the next chance to see my friends once i start training.
i wish training could start tomorrow

RSC and doctors dont seem to go together when applications are concerned do they
the amount of guys standing around last week was a joke. Lets hope they dont put your date back. Spoke to the afco today in Germany, got to wait until next summer for signals so i have taken my second choice and will be joining you in the engineers. Start date is January 10th.

I sent my medical questionnaire off to the afco after my GP filled it in on Friday last week. Should have been on the desk of the afco yesterday. I have heard that the medical forms take the longest of all the application process. But after they are sorted i can crack on with getting an interview, and then RSC. Cant wait.
