does anyone know much about this trade and have you had any experience with them?
Interested to know more about this trade other than the official spin on it, it could appear as a military version of the AA or RAC by the looks of it!

I think you mean Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers REME recovery mechanic. I've been recovered by them a few times
, They do pretty much as it says they recover broken down vehicles everything from landrovers to tanks using lots of specialist equipment. They don't however fix them (unlike the AA) that's the job of the VM's.

mate of mine is a radio operator in REME and he said the recce mechs are nutcases, completely mad. but they are very very well respected, you spend most of your time in a workshop though rather than actual soldiering obviously.
I believe REME come under Combat Service Support? rather than combat force or combat support force?
