Do any of you guys know the PTI that the 2 young ladies were tossing over their shoulders, he wasn't very tall but he was built like a brick outhouse!

I was under the impression that marines in general were more the 'slight' build, but all the PTI's on Blue Peter were fairly hefty.

Did you see when one of the ladies fell off the 'Death slide', lucky she was in a harness.

The recruits on the mud run looked to be having fun with the mud clad presenters as well.

The Cpl in question is Cpl Sand******.

And he is one of the Biggest you'll see down there. There are a few PTI's bigger, and a few with serious Gun's on them.

I would post his full name, but not in public!

Jon - I played back that 5 second gym scene and was laughing on how bad our troop was with those intros. Things that stood out was 'Faint-Boys' (The lad that collapsed during the first locker inspection) rather delayed response with stretching his arms up and the lads nearest to the camera jumping the gun with the 'One and Two' pressup position. I thought that they would have used a more experienced troop for the shoot.

If I was the first Blue Peter chick that went down the 'death slide' I would have asked for a re-shoot - How on earth could you let go. I'll cut them some slack with the regain as that is a little tricky.

To be honest i was a little disapointed, the Paras got a whole episode last week which actually looked quite cool. Where as RM Gets 5 or 10 minutes of two girls flapping around lympston, was still quite funny tho...
LM, you still with the RMR? Hows it going?

I was a bit disappointed too. But that lass falling off the death slide made up for it!!

A lad feinted after the first locker inspection? :-?
It's only pain.

'A lad feinted after the first locker inspection?'

yeah it was hilaroius...I was standing just across from him.He was stood to attention and then just fell backwards onto his bed ,sat down for a bit cuz he was dazed and then just got back up like nothing had happened ,lol.

Lee,yeah my mum taped it,so funny, think im the only one in the troop who was doing the press up routine wrong.

It was nerves - lockers were getting windmilled; press-ups getting dished out in the hundreds; Nod's were reporting incorrectly and mincing their words; training team were getting p*ssed. I must admit that I got a bit of a sweat-on too!

Statistic: I didn't join RMR in the end as a WO1 talked me out of it. I am with Jon (J.M.C) in regular recruit training, 874 Troop.

What do you mean by ' lockers were getting windmilled'? Do you mean having to be redone? I thought windmilling was boxing.
