Ross Kemp

Post by josephwells »

Yes Ross Kemp completed the selection course one thursday evening, he found the maps easy to use and enjoyed the nibbles and canopes served up between movements on the hills.

He also disclosed recently that the famed and loved "selection box" was the root of the term selection, apparently hard nosed SAS snco's give out the delicious cadburys selection boxes to eager young troopers on passing and gaining he coveted, rainbow beret, the rainbow beret is the secret hat that is worn along with spiderman pyjamas by all SAS men. In fact this is so secret that only people in the VSF know of it VSF is the Very Special Forces founded by several men in a pub in hendon one Friday evening.

I am now going to milk my pet newt as he is suffering from the flu

good day all...........

Err... you've got it wrong. I'm sure the VSF was founded by the GGP(Green Goblin Patrol) at a community centre in Hearfart. I know this because I saw pictures of the GGP with bags that said "VSF LAUNDRY" on the internet and everyone knows that everything on the internet is true.
Also, the rifles they use are the SPR-SKR-2000 loaded with secret invisible water. I saw this on the internet too.

SAS MEN MAN........

Post by josephwells »

I saw 3 SAS men in the pub at the weekend in belfast, I recognized them because they were wearing Armani Jeans and they were all 6 foot 8 and hugely built - so the barmaid told us as she got into the blacked out supercopter they had in the car park. Is it also true that after selection you have to pass an arm wrestling test?

Regards a post op stoat....I am becoming a weasel.

A muscle knobber

IIRC the politically correct term for this (in Oz at least) is "an owner, operator"

We Played with you boys a lot when I was attached to 104, and if you know 21 sas and were they are you know who 104 are.

You tw**s cut my bungies up Sunnybridge on exercise and if you remember and was in 21 or 23, then do you remember the excercise in Cardiff docks a few years back :)

EOD's and Russian flags.

Anyone care to answer the following ? In private of course.

For example what does the sign say above the bar in the Sgt's Mess say ?

What is the nickname of the "social" club ?

Ask what course they were on I served with 21(SAS)R and was on course 026/03...you will not be breaching any persec or opsec disclosing this info.................and the course dates are only known by those who are on that course with dates of each excercise and drill night given to those only on that specific course 21SAS(R) run 2 courses a year.....Names above the sergeants mess and nicknames can be overheard by anyone or obtained by anybody attending a christmas party.Be specific on your questions that only real SAS or SBS would know the awnser too.I am happy to verify me SF crudentials but I wont conflict my security..I will and help where I can.I am new here and happy to awnser questions on SF Training,excersises..etc..But I expect there to be a lot more knowledge and advice here..I dont know it all..I wont disclose names of serving or operational soldiers....Because I was 21(SAS)R I only went to Hereford twice in my 3 year career I was lucky not many reservists do get to go.I dont know the nickname for the social club or the sign above the sergeants mess to be true but because I dont know that off the top of my head that does not make me not SF.

Ps...No.. I dont know Andy Mc Nab or Chris Ryan.

also A SQUN 21 im sorry you say you only went to hereford 2 times in 3 years and you were lucky not many reservists get to go??? thats wrong every one badged into a sabre squn has to attend hereford for there special forces signal course amongest others. also for refresher course weapon famil etc or even just to give the psi a lift home . were you actualy sabre or attached or just a very poor attender ?

Alway's check your fact's before you press send.
In the 10 years I spent in 23 the selection process changed a few times the only course I went to Hereford for was patrol commanders and I can assure you I was not a poor attender.
Sigs in my day were taught at SQN locations. All the specialist stuff was done at the place best suited to the task. Never open your mouth until you are sure you wont put your foot in it.
The Brecon Becons still stand Pen-y Fan is still a pain it makes no differance jnr, snr, selection, it stays with you ............

have to say m8 it may have been that way in your time but no longer sf sigs is now ran at hereford under 264 specialist skills are also courses ran by the regs at hereford /kingstanding a good friend of mine has just gave up full time work and for the past few months has been up and down to H like a yoyo on courses the options are there for those who commit
this isnt picking bones or getting into a "i know more than you" argument all im doing is stating that which i know is true and correcting something which i saw to be false
no foots in mouth here
