Ahoy there!
I was wondering how and why people on this forum decided on their usernames.
Admittedly some are fairly obvious; Rob clearly has delusions of something or other and Kevin's Sea Soldier speaks for its self.
I decided on Rogue Chef because I served my first five years as a chef. In the early eighties there was a popular comic called '2000 AD'. My favourite character was called Rogue Trooper, hence Rogue Chef. My drinking partner in those days was Chris Challis who assigned himself Judge Chef after Judge Dredd.

I chose El Prez (to whom all good things and cash will happen) before being given a new handle in a fudged referendum by that establishment lapdog Rotary Booty, the former Miss Delice Blancmange. It was chosen as a mark of respect and steaming esteem, for a friend who took over, literally, the running of the Goldwing club in N Wales. He was of Portuguese stock, looked like a Hammas bomber and ruled with a claw of adjustable chrome.
Now back to this mornings deliberations. "Where is this mornings Virgin? What do you mean there are none left in Penzance!! Get back out and try Falmouth, trawl the pay and display for likely flesh, now go."
Bloody staff, totally unreliable and useless when it comes to initiative. Mind you, as soon as one shows inititaive he/she is chopped. Might be getting uppity! 8)

Tab Hunter
WHO?
Sticky Blue = generic pussers terminoligy for an RM Bugler. Nobody else had it so I though I was most qualified to take the nick... if you ever heard my dulcet tones on the bugle you would question my having the nick though!! I am purely in amin now, hoorah shout the music lovers, but I was always pretty good on the drum and could hold my own amonst most of the lads.

I originally came up with mine a few years ago, when in my immense maturity I thought voodoo was interesting (wot wiv all da zombees an stuff). So taking that, I set out out think up something of an antonym. Vegetables are nice and boring, and I thought the prime culprit was probably the humble brussel sprout. So, add the two together and - voodoo sprout :).

I feel left out here - I am one of the few that use real names on this forum.

Any suggestions for a new username for me?

Mine was given to me at high school during my footie playing days. I was not a bad player but never into the tricky flicks and tricks, more of the force and tackling.
Strength_10 refers to me having the "strength of ten men"...hence, i make up a team on my own!

Not really a fitting description but it was nice at the time and it has kinda stuck.

PS-this is a good thread :)

I chose mine because that is my real name, easy to remember, plus I have absolutely no imagination.

Aye - Andy. :drinking:
