Exactly the point I made a while back on another forum, which negates Boyze's patronising BS.
To paraphrase Boyze's comments, 'there are a lot of blokes I wouldn't go out on patrol with!' So it cuts both ways.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Boyze - I know I shouldn't rise to your comments but I find it difficult not to reply to such patronising words. Firstly, I can't believe the special forces, as professional an institution as it is, would have someone like you leading a troop. If that's the case and I were fortunate enough to be accepted, I hope that I would never end up serving under someone of your ilk. As for your suggestion that recent television shows on the SAS are responsible for planting ideas in my head, this couldn't be further from the truth. I have been interested in joining special forces for a few years before any television coverage on this particular unit. Further to your pregnancy comment, this is an issue debated in most workplaces and no doubt many women have been passed over for promotion or not given better opportunities because their male bosses fear they may be off having a family soon and why waste the resources to train them. Can I remind you this is the 21st century and many women take the minimum time off to have a child without impacting their careers. And as a final comment why should I be satisfied with a support role if I am capable of something more challenging. Would you?????

A question for boyze / Kristina.
Are you brother and sister by any chance, or just have two personalities?

Being a Christian,I will most likely come from a different position than many of you.My Bible tells me that in Peter 3 v7,that women are the weaker vessels and as such should have protection by husbands{men}.Therefore they should not be subjected to facing death in the front line of war.Now I realise that anyone who doesnot believe in God will rubbish this ,but that doesnot take away from the fact that this,as with any other opinion is worthy of consideration.I was blessed to be brought up in a household{during the 40's and 50's}where my mother stayed at home and ran the household,in my opinion the best way to bring up children.Regretfully this method is almost an impossibility, due to the greed of business and governments who over the last 20/30years have made it so that most families are unable to manage on 1 person's wage. The other biggy is the idealology of radical feminist's,whose agenda has been to destroy the nuclear family and replace it and whilst they say they want equality all Ive ever seen is that they want superiority. To this end all roles normally done by males in their eyes, have also to be carried out by females ,otherwise it could be argued that, they only want the pleasant duties and are not prepared to be involved in the less pleasant ones.To my limited knowledge I dont know of any radical feminist who has been in the front line.
Now Im sure some of you will want to give your opinion on my post so I will sit back and wait for the brickbats.
Have a good day.

Women can make good terrorists and can be fierce fighters but I have to agree they have no place on the front line...

I mean, there would be no chance in hell of a woman getting into say.....the Selous Scouts (Rhodesian Elite along with C - 22nd Rhodisian SAS in the 70's). This involved 30 mile marches through the bush and eating rotten baboon!!

Women can't handle this type of brutal training. As sexist as it sounds women can't perform anywhere near the elite males....in terms of strength, stamina and aggression......

Women in unarmed combat...........please............

I don't care who it is.

If someone pulls a gun or knife and is directly threatening me or any other person with unlawful violence and I believe that there is no other way of stopping they will be dealt with.

Major Kong, "Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in vegas with all that stuff....."
