Being a Chef in the Navy?

Post by Sythor »

Does anybody have any info on being a Chef in the Navy, for example, demand, conditions, moral, level of fun and just any general titbits i should know.

Also, after i wash my hair it goes all puffy, are you allowed hair gel during training and on the boats.
Cheers.

Well its the toughest course in the navy so tough infact nobody has passed it yet!.........................waits for for the barrage of abuse from the S and S branch
My position remains before the mast.
or is it "when the red flag is flying use the after gangway" ;)

Sythor,

Chefs and Medics, the only one's really trained to kill in the Navy !!!!.
As a medic I was part of the S&S branch mess onboard,so I saw a few sights in my time, they say stokers messes are bad !!!
Work hard play hard,Chefs and S&S branch good bunch of lads always know how to have fun. :drinking:
Dont worry about the puffy hair,it will all go away once you join Raleigh. :o
