Where is you from?

Post by Whitey »

Where are you from? I was born in Beaumont Tx on the Louisianna Texas Border, but spent my school years on a dirt patch in Oklahoma. Dad is from Louisianna, mom was from Oklahoma by the Red River.
I'm exiled like Napoleon right now in Colorado, but I'm working a deal with Rouge Spear to get back to what I consider home, Texas.

Nbforrest can tell you his own story, it's good one.

Born and brought up in Glasgow, Scotland. Joined the Royal Marines in 1959. On discharge 1982 I came straight over to Calgary, Alberta where I stayed for ten years, then to Newfoundland for nine years. I now live on Vancouver Island, or as Canadians say La La Land.

I'm from 'God's Little Acre'. Known to some as Liverpool, England!

Oh, by the way, I was born in the front room of 129 Harefield Road.

I passed by there the other day but they haven't got round to putting up the blue plaque, yet. :-?

South Wales. I live a few hundred yards from the hospital I was born at, which has nearly been demolished because the government decided it would be a splendid idea to build a new hospital a few miles away that is prone to staff shortages and other problems that the old hospital apparently didn't have.

Both my parents are from a mining community in South Wales. They moved to London after my Dad graduated from uni.

I have lived in East London (Leytonstone) all my life (same house).

I grew up in Islington and Hackney, London and when my folks died when I was 17 I moved to Canada to live with my uncle. When I was 18 I joined 2 PPCLI (92), and applied for my jump course soon after BIQ. I passed it and joined 3 Commando. Several months later we were disbanded and I was sent back to 2PPCLI, from there we were going to be sent to Shilo, so I jumped ship and transfered to 1 PPCLI in Edmonton.

Thats me :|

Born in Loveday Street Hospital, Birmingham, UK in 1968 the hospital isn't there anymore. Lived in South Birmingham all my life. It is a nice place especially where I live where it is a short hop into the countryside of South Staffordshire and Shropshire.

In the army from 1985 to 1994 (RGJ).
