jus saying hi from week 4

Post by agentkitson »

Hi i have just finished week 4 and i am at home for a long weekend, although i go back tomorrow, which isnt really a long weekend. I had my families day on Friday, we got thrashed in the gym, i was running on empty because i had no scran o the pain!
Had exercise early night this week which i think is to get you used to carrying your rifle with you everywhere! Got thrashed in the field, all you wannabes will find when you join this is common practice for the training team to inflict pain on you every time you go in the field! I have exercise quick step next week which im not really looking forward too as it will be the start of the dreaded wet and dry routine! We will be there for 3or 4 days which is plenty of time for us to be thrashed to breaking point! One lad was last exercise, he was caught smoking in the wrong place on camp, he was in tears when they had finished with him!

Apart from the constant threat of thrashings everyhting else is good, pt is good we are doing the mse circuit which is the weight circuit which builds you up for the bottom field! We aslo did the BST swimming test last week which involves jumping in off the bored with clothes, webbing and a rifle on and swimming 30or so meters taking the kit off, swimming a width under water and then treading water for 3min quite, easy, i found swimming under water hard though! We had our first room change the other day which is a punishment! Some nobber was late for a briefing so they made us all change rooms in 20min! It meant more admin at night sorting yourself out!

Tiredness is a big factor does my head in sometimes but i am getting use to being permently tired!

I also met Jesse when he joined two weeks ago, which was cool! He arrived a day early from Canada when we were packing our kit to move out of foundation block!

Well thats all from me only 26weeks to go!ahhhhhh
PASSED PRMC 4JULY!
START TRAINING 28TH JULY!
DAM THOSE PRESS UPS ARE HARD!
IT IS ONLY PAIN 500M TO GO, what a great sign!
