Diets - Everyone please!
Diets - Everyone please!
My diet is not consistant or balanced - sometimes I eat less than 2500kcals a day, others I eat more. I also eat a lot of the wrong stuff - curries, pizza, mccdonalds, chippies
Just to give me some idea about how much I should be eating:
1) How many calories do you eat a day?
2) Is your diet balanced?
3) Do you eat a lot of crap like maccies and curries or are you a healthy eater?
4) Do you take protein supplements, etc
5) How much exercise do you do a day

Pint of Guinness and a bag of salty chips will see you through mate
.
I'd not worry too much, just cut out the cr##py stuff (chippys and pizza), and eat lots of steamed veg and meat and fish etc. Drink a lot of water, and minimize your alcohol intake. I'm certainly not an expert, but that's what I do, and I feel better than when I was eating burgers every other day.
All the best, BFC.

My diet used to be very bad while I was at college, on lunch hour Mcdonalds was the closest place, or a pie shop so it was pretty much anything from there five days a week but i did stay at a consistant weight. My breakfast used to be wheetabix and bananna and in the evening a curry or something.
Now i've left college, started a new job where I'm on my feet 7 hours a day five or six days a week carrying stuff, ive lost 3 lbs, been doin the job for say 2 weeks. I don't drink anymore, havn't had a mcdonalds in about a month. Lunch is usually lasagne or spaghetti pasta stuff, works well lol, just usually too tired to train after a day at work

my diet is pretty simple, i stick with grilled chicken, fish, meat, pasta and generally healthy food but the above is the basis of my diet.i allow one day every 2 weeks which i can eat whatever i want,ie. pizza, chinese, kebab.
another important factor of a healthy diet is to drink plenty of water but if you are like me and dont like water you can use diluting juice.
Also if you can its better psycolgically (big words
) to work out early in the morning because that way you wont want to stuff your face with junk food as it would be a waste of your hard work in the morning.

Excellent to see all you youngsters eating well and looking after yourself.
My diet when I was in my 'prime' was supplemented by at least one packet of cigarettes a day and as much booze as you could get down your neck, with not much thought given to the type of food being eaten.
I am by no means recommending the above, as I said it is good news that youngsters take their health and diet seriously, but personally I wouldn't worry to much about diet at your ages, determination and 'bottle' is the key ingredient in my view.
Good luck to all.

You don't deserve a biscuit with those timings!Hi-guys! wrote: friday - buiscit for reward after 60 mile run in 10 hours
I just have as much pasta and tuna as possible in my diet. Some nights I'll make up a big pasta and tuna bowl and pick at it all day.
Baked tattie for lunch every day makes for those manly muscles!

I also recommend fasting. I do a 48 hour fast every three weeks - from Fri 18.00 to Sun 18.00. No water or food at all. Does wonders for cleaning out the system.
