Bottom Field

Post by Jon »

Every time that someone talks about the PRMC, they seem to talk about how hard the bottom field is. Is it done jsut before the 3 mile run?

What does this consist of?
Does it take its toll on the 3 miler?
Can you fail your PRMC on the bottom field?

the bottom field is the last physical excersise you do, after the 3 mile run. I haven't tried it yet but it's pretty much (from what i've read) the drill instructors giving you a big beasting (when your already knackared from the last few days). really just to see how far you will go (mental test)

Oh the joys of the bottom field, many a gallon of sweat have been left there along with countless breakfasts. :-? ....The wall, :( swing bridge, :x water leap  and the fireman's lift!
Is Heart break lane still there, no one seems to mention it?

Bottom field is on the first PRMC full day after gym test 1. Its basically running around full speed and doing anything else the PTI feels like like pressups, sit ups and anything to embarras you like skipping holding hands. Then you do the assault course and another little run around.
You can fail on this section if you dont make the time on the assault course ( 3.20) and if you decide to drop out.
