Nice thought, Bootneck. Rob could be the Gestapo
It`d be fantastic to see the route and I`ll bet the locals give you a great reception mate. Put the bite on Sully, he`ll be up for it
Aye,

I'll definitely do it one day. I've never been prone to hero-worship, apart from my dad, but I must admit to being a fan of Bill Sparks.
Also, the site of that White Ensign charging through the corn and maize fields (instead of across the wilds of Dartmoor) is almost too much to resist.
Problem is I've made some plans next year to do some cycling around (well, up, really) Alpe d'Huez and Mt Ventoux (where Tom Simpson, the only serious British challenger for the Tour, died of exhaustion with his final words being "get me back on my bike"). As my jollies are limited these days I'm already committed Trev but if it all falls through (or I bottle it) the Frankton Trail sounds just the ticket

Per Flank, Per Tank
Frankton Trail
Does anyone know where I can obtain accurate details of the route - if it's known in detail?
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Frankton Trail
Chris, there was an article in the Globe & Buster, a call to them, and/or the Corps Museum would see you rightChrisB wrote:Does anyone know where I can obtain accurate details of the route - if it's known in detail?
