When I did it I sort of lost interest near the end and hit anything I couldn't be bothered reading the questions. Only a complete and utter moron could fail it.

What sort of questions are on it?

I took an RAF version once which had questions like "Which system in a car does the coil belong to: a) Ignition b) Central Locking c) Steering"

5 parts in total, and a combination of speed(faster you do it the higher the score) and accuracy(the more you get right.....etc).

Not in order.

Set 1 don't know the correct name but here is an example question.

Statement: Paul is taller than John.
Question: Who is shorter, John or Paul?

Set 2 3 numbers are given. You find the middle number and then find the number from the remaining 2 that is furtherest away from the middle number.

13 23 11 answer is 23

Set 3 Word assosiation. 3 words given 2 have the same or opposite meanings, 3rd is the odd one out and is the answer.

Set 4 rotating F,s. 2 lines of 3 F's in various configurations are shown, some when rotated around a pivot will match. You need to say how many.

Set 5 Matching upper case and lower case letter. Saying how many do.

These tests are not a test of brains, but a test of how trainable you are, with the score you gain and inconjuction with any GCSE you have, it gives you a list of jobs that are suitable to you. Hope this helps. 8)

When i was waiting for my BARB test talking to the soldiers that generally ponce about, flirt with women that come in and take the p**s out of recruitment videos, they were going over the little practice booklet and calling me a 'potential mong', and saying that if i got less than 40 they were gonna beat me up lol. The thing was abit of a joke really...'Car, Motorcycle, Big Green Monkey- Which is the odd one out?' I got 69, good enough for infantry.
