Yeah I read that, I don't think he like the way the SAS was heading, and the only way it could survive was to totally transform into a wierd fighting unit like SWAT or something? Is that the same book? I think it ended "SAS - R.I.P."

yes thats the one The book tells the history of the sas and sets it in its political context Its a different read to your normal run of the mill sas stuff

I thought the way that book ended "SAS RIP" was a bit of bullshit. I know they may get more media these days but there is still a strong need for them.
